Robert D. “Bo” Willis - President
Bo Willis is the Founder and President of Mission Santa Barbara Insurance Services. He has over twenty years of experience building relationships and finding creative solutions for a wide variety of customers.
Prior to starting Mission Santa Barbara Insurance Services in February of 2017, Mr. Willis spent the most recent six years as an Agency Owner/Exclusive Agent for a large national insurance carrier. Before that, Mr. Willis spent fourteen years in the banking industry, beginning with a stint in corporate banking before spending twelve years in interest rate derivative structuring and marketing. He ultimately led the build out of an interest rate derivatives trading platform for a large regional bank in Los Angeles.
Mr. Willis received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Southern Methodist University, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance from St. Louis University.
Mr. Willis serves on the Board of the Lobero Theatre Foundation.
Tiffany Merlo – Director of Business Development
Tiffany Merlo is a Santa Barbara native who is responsible for the Business Development effort at Mission Santa Barbara Insurance Services.
Since becoming a part of the insurance industry in 1993, Ms. Merlo has worked for several firms, including both independent and exclusive agencies, in sales and account management capacities. The diversity of her experience gives her a very unique perspective on the market. She has extensive experience in both commercial and personal lines, many connections within the industry, and her determination when advocating on a customer’s behalf is unrivaled.
Ms. Merlo is the mother of two teenagers, and spends much of her spare time shuttling them to various sporting events and social activities. She also enjoys traveling and working out.
Beth Burridge – Account Manager
A Santa Barbara resident since childhood, and a graduate of both San Marcos High School and Santa Barbara City College, Beth Burridge is responsible for the servicing and management of both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines at Mission Santa Barbara Insurance Services.
Ms. Burridge worked for multiple captive agencies over a nine year period before joining Mission Santa Barbara Insurance Services in March of 2018. Over the course of her insurance career, she has worked in customer service, account management, and sales roles, as well as serving as Office Manager at her most recent agency. While her experience has mainly been in Personal Lines, since joining Mission Santa Barbara Insurance Services she has immersed herself in the Commercial Lines business, with the intention of eventually being able to offer the same level of expertise across all lines.
Ms. Burridge is the mother of two teenagers (and two dogs), and in addition to spending time with them, enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with extended family.
